My husband and I are battling to start a family, in plain language battling to sustain a pregnancy aka dealing with recurrent miscarriage... life is throwing us some curve balls and answers are not presenting themselves at this stage. All up I have had 3 miscarriages, the last coincided with my last post in May, so there you have it, that is the reason behind the silence... but the show must go on and now is the time!!!. We are in a holding pattern at the moment while the Dr's run further tests before heading back into the "family planning trenches" later this year - wish me luck!.
For now though I have some beautiful bits I found on Pinterest... looking forward to sharing some vintage treasure and a simple DIY over the next week as well. xx Tina
I am loving the pin above... simple but so effective using vintage finds such as postcards, cut outs of vintage vases, mirrors, necklaces and artificial flowers - lovely!
Loving this bar cart too... the customised wine bottle labels are a nice touch... must consider doing this one day!
If I ever had a pool...
I want to live here now!
xx
Oh, my heart goes out to you.

Thank you Liz, so lovely of you - looking forward to catching up on all things blog oriented!. xx Tina
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear of your struggles. I have three miscarriages, including the loss of twin girls five years ago (our first pregnancy) half way through the pregnancy. I have been successful in having a family. But I do understand and empathise with the worries that come when your are pregnant. It's not an easy task when you've suffered multiple losses or trauma. I wish you love and light and baby to come true.
ReplyDeleteOh Trudie, I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriages, it must have been devastating and making it to the half way mark and losing your little ones is just beyond heartbreaking xx. Thank you for your support and for sharing your personal story, I'm thrilled that you successfully carried to term and have a beautiful family now... thank you for your gorgeous wishes - I'm covering myself in "baby dust" at the moment in preparation for upcoming cycles!. xx Tina
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear of your pain and troubles... my thoughts and good vibes go out to you xx
